Unser erster Stopp war die Hallgr\u00edmskirkja. Uns fiel direkt auf, wie schlicht eine isl\u00e4ndische Kirche im Gegensatz zu den meisten Kirchen in Deutschland ist. Von dem 74 Meter hohen Kirchturm hat man einen wunderbaren Blick \u00fcber ganz Reykjavik. Es gilt als architektonische Attraktion und als neues Wahrzeichen der Hauptstadt. Wir hatten ein Plokkfisch-Gratin, eine Gem\u00fcseplatte und selbstgemachtes Brot. Nach deutscher P\u00fcnktlichkeit sind wir 3 Stunden vor Abflug in dem kleinen Flughafen mit zwei Check-In Schaltern angekommen und mussten ern\u00fcchternd feststellen, dass es absolut ausreichend gewesen w\u00e4re, erst 10 Minuten vor Abflug zu kommen. Mit einer kleinen Propellermaschine startete der einst\u00fcndige Flug in den Osten Islands. Dort wurden wir von Bobba, unserer Ansprechpartnerin f\u00fcr das Praktikum, herzlich begr\u00fc\u00dft und abgeholt. Auf dem Weg haben wir unz\u00e4hlige kleinere und gr\u00f6\u00dfere Wasserf\u00e4lle gesehen und die Landschaft hat uns sehr beeindruckt.
